If this leads to the Blade Runner world, when can I put down a down payment on a personal replicant?

I just started reading “Do Androids dream of electric sheep?” Monday, I’m enjoying it so far, about a third of the way through. It’s the book they loosely based the movie on.

We’re already pretty much living in a dystopia now. From debt being a method of control over the populace, to access to technology and the net being heavily monitored and controlled by the service provider monopolies, we pretty much have a representative corporatocracy with industry lobbyists and under the table deals with politicians who no longer represent “the people”.
Add flying cars and artificial humans, and we got ourselves a full on Blade Runner scenario.

Reuters apparently doesn’t pay attention to the tech world if they’re saying a public spat between tech giants is rare

It’s easy to sideload any android app on Fire sticks/TV. Granted it’s probably beyond your average consumer, but I bet it’ll become more popular once they just google “how to load youtube on amazon stick”.
Also, Kodi is amazeballs on the Fire TV.

I didn’t know if that’s what most people assumed or if there is a book based on the movie.

Hah! It’s all good. I have read most of the old sci-fi greats. My dad would get me collections of them for long car rides. Heinlein, Clark, PKD, Bradbury, etc. etc. I loved those books.
